Working Through Challenges
Even in an atmosphere of trust, there may be times when things don’t go as hoped. We encourage honest, kind conversations with the coach to seek understanding and clarity.

- Their child’s physical and emotional well‑being
- Ways to support skill development and personal growth
- Any behavioral concerns
Topics Best Left to Coaching Judgment
- Specific playing time decisions
- Game strategy or play‑calling
- Evaluations of other athletes
How to Address Concerns
- Contact and schedule a meeting with the coach.
- If unavailable, contact the Athletic Director to set up the appointment.
- Avoid confrontations before or after practices or games, when tensions may run high.
- If a resolution isn’t achieved, request a follow‑up meeting with the Athletic Director.
