St. Joseph Middle School Student Services
St. Joseph Middle School Student Support Services collaborate with teachers, parents, Special Education Consultant and administration to provide a challenging, yet supportive environment for each student.
Our Student Support Specialist works in conjunction with the teacher in the classroom and provides extra help for the student at lunchtime. Additional support is provided through a smaller advisory class at the end of the day which focuses on helping the students to become better organized. Help with school work is also provided during this advisory time.
An After School Homework Club is available Tuesday and Thursday to also help with assignments and organization.
Students identified with concerns are addressed through child study meetings, where the staff and parents will determine need for evaluation, and with parental input, develop a plan of action Parents are encouraged to contact Student Support or our Principal with any concerns about their child.
